Deadlines

Masters Program

Submit your application by February 15 for Early Decision or by May 1 for Regular Decision; admission notifications follow after each round.

Current W&M undergraduates apply to the Bachelor-to-Master’s Accelerated Pathway (BMAP) during their junior year through our online form. Admission to the BMAP allows you to begin taking approved graduate courses in your senior year - courses that can double count toward both degrees. After entering the BMAP, you work with the Data Science graduate advisor to select which courses will double count. 

PhD Program

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but we aim to make our first round of decisions during the spring semester each year. To be as competitive as you can be, we recommend your application be submitted by February 15.
