Advisory Board

The School of Computing, Data Sciences & Physics (CDSP) Advisory Board is a dedicated group of alumni  and industry leaders who provide counsel to the Dean and advocate to advance CDSP’s mission. Drawing on the diverse perspectives and expertise of its members, the Board helps strengthen connections, expand opportunities and inspire philanthropic support for the program’s students, faculty and initiatives. Together, its members help transform bold ideas into meaningful impact and shape the future of CDSP.

		Annie Brown '10 San Francisco, CA Annie Brown earned a B.A. in Gender Studies and a B.A. in History from William & Mary in 2010. She is Founder & CEO of Reliabl, a responsible technology initiative developing inclusive AI and data solutions to improve online experiences for marginalized communities.
		Jane Horvath '86 Washington, D.C. Jane Horvath ’86 earned her B.S. in Computer Science from William & Mary and her J.D. from the University of Virginia. She is a partner at Gibson Dunn, where she co-chairs the firm’s Tech and Innovation Industry Group and its Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation Practice Group. A nationally recognized leader in privacy and technology law, she previously served as Apple’s Chief Privacy Officer, Google’s Global Privacy Counsel and the U.S. Department of Justice’s first Chief Privacy Counsel and Civil Liberties Officer.
		Sucheta Jawalker M.S. '07, Ph.D. '11 Atlanta, GA Sucheta Jawalkar earned her M.S. in Physics from William & Mary in 2007 and her Ph.D. in Physics in 2011, following a B.S. in Physics from Truman State University. An experimental high-energy physicist by training, she is currently the lead data scientist for CVS Health and has built a career as a technical leader developing artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions across the retail, healthcare and federal research sectors.
		Tom Mayrhofer '95 Washington, D.C. Tom Mayrhofer holds a B.A. in Accounting from William & Mary and brings more than two decades of experience in finance and operations. He is the Chief Financial Officer at DigitalBridge, a global alternative asset management company focused on investing in digital infrastructure.
		George Miller '67, M.S. '69, Ph.D. '72 San Francisco, CA George Miller received his B.S. (’67), M.S. (’69) and Ph.D. (’72) in Physics from William & Mary. He spent 34 years at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, serving as the director from 2007 until his retirement in 2011. He also previously served as a member of W&M’s Graduate Studies Advisory Board.
		Jason Moore '99 Seattle, WA Jason Moore earned his B.S. in Computer Science from William & Mary in 1999. He leads product for Microsoft Copilot Studio, a platform that enables people and organizations to build AI agents and agentic workflows.
		John Napoli '20 San Francisco, CA John Napoli earned his B.A. in Business Administration from William & Mary in 2020. While at W&M he was a team lead for GeoData and a founding member of geoLab. He previously served as a deployment strategist at Palantir Technologies and is currently an MBA candidate at Stanford University.
		Kevin Phillips '84 Boston, MA Kevin Phillips earned his B.A. in Business Administration from William & Mary in 1984. He is Chairman of the Board of MANTECH, a technology company focused on advancing national and homeland security, where he previously served as President and CEO. He is also a former Trustee of the William & Mary Foundation.
		Elaine Turville '96 Washington, D.C.  Elaine Turville earned her B.A. in Marketing and Economics from William & Mary in 1996. She is Managing Director for Talent at Accenture Federal Services. She has remained engaged with William & Mary as a member of the Washington Center Advisory Board.
		Raelene Canuel Wagoner '87, P '20 Washington, D.C.  Raelene Canuel Wagoner received a B.S. in Computer Science in 1986 and a minor in music, where she played violin for the W&M Orchestra. She is a human resources executive with more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector, most recently serving as Vice President of Talent Management at Unison. A dedicated William & Mary alumna and parent, she previously served on the William & Mary Foundation Board.
		Bob Wise '86 Seattle, WA Bob Wise earned his B.S. in Computer Science from William & Mary in 1986 and his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. He is Vice President of Engineering and Operations for NVIDIA DGX Cloud, where he helps lead the development and operation of NVIDIA’s cloud-based AI infrastructure.
